Story

Once upon a time there was a princess who did not want to be a princess, but decided to just be happy no matter what happened. There was only one way to loose your status once born to it. She felt like this birthright was inappropriately given and so she ran away and married a commoner. This would not change who she was or her fate however.

She was miserable, she was still a princess although her husband was in no way royal. But, she was tired of forcing a happy face. It was actually wearing on her nerves and changing who she was.

Until one day the stresses showed on her coutanance as she looked in the mirror she thought in her mind, "who is this hideous woman? I am a princess." Her mirror percieved her thoughts and said, "You are no princess."

Truly, she did not look or feel like a princess, but it was a matter of who she was, "but, I am a princess. There is only one way to avoid that.", she replied aloud. "Just look at what you've done, then..."

Flashback and the tale begins.

She is young, a child even, and she is noted by her father as being an exceptional child, an ideal older sibling to set the example for the other children. As the first three were all girls she began to feel comfortable with the responsibilities of being a queen one day.

Then, the fourth and fifth babies were boys which meant her fate lied elsewhere, the kingdom would be passed on to the male heir.
